Editorial policy
Freshmint pages are written to be acted on: someone is about to order a case of 144 tubes for people who need them. That sets the rules below.
Where product facts come from
Counts, unit sizes, formulas, bristle types and flavours are read from the pack. Per unit prices are our own case prices divided by the count in the box. Ratings and review counts are the ones customers left. We do not reprint manufacturer copy.
Where health statements come from
Anything about fluoride, brushing or dentures is written from named authorities: the American Dental Association, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, and the federal over-the-counter monograph that governs anticavity toothpaste. Each page was read before it was cited, and the date we read it is printed next to the link.
What we will not write
- A health claim beyond what an anticavity toothpaste is allowed to make.
- A number we cannot source: no invented studies, percentages or customer counts.
- A comparison that puts made-up figures against another brand.
- A founding date, a factory, a head office or a person who does not exist.
Dates
The catalogue was last updated on 20 August 2026. Sources carry the date they were read. Articles carry the date they were published and the date they were last revised.
Corrections
A factual error is corrected on the page itself as soon as we know about it, and a correction that changes the meaning of an article is noted in the text. Write to hello@myfreshmint.org.
Independence
The catalogue covers 34 items across 8 shelves, and commission plays no part in what is on them. See the affiliate disclosure for how the site is paid for.
